Why Students Need You (Not Just Your Content)

January 12, 20261 min read

In today's information overload, in a space where we can learn anything in a moment's notice, here's the hard truth: we don't need another course, another workshop, or webinar. We don't need more content.

I see the irony of that. But, but, but... what we need is you.

We need your story. We need your interpretation of the content. We need your life experience and background to help us move through the content intentionally.

As humans, we are inherently learning learners. We want to grow and expand. It is human desire. So while we live in a time where we could learn more and more easily than before:

  1. How are you using that opportunity?

  2. When we are contributing to this global and human expansion of knowledge, how are you sharing your interpretation with your lived experience?

I became an educator to make a difference in the world. That started as leadership and character development in the wilderness, transitioned to science in the classroom, and now it's helping move the online education space into one that inspires transformation and impact.

Education can change the world specifically online education. It doesn't have barriers of time and space, and can create a far larger ripple than any one classroom.

It is time to own the online education space as just that: Education, a keystone that ripples outwards when done correctly.

Cheers, Kim
